YSMU and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center will enhance cooperation

YSMU Rector Armen Muradyan held meetings with the representatives of one of the largest US medical centers - Cedars-Sinai - as part of his working visit.

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is the largest multidisciplinary hospital complex, which is considered one of the best centers in the USA according to various rankings.

Among the representatives of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center was Professor Karine Sargsyan, MD, Prof., YSMU Honorary Doctor; ARICE leading expert; World Health Organization (WHO) expert; Scientific Director of the Cancer Biobank at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center; Managing Director for International Biobanking and Education at Medical University of Graz, Austria; and Arsen Osipov, MD, ARICE partner, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Medical Oncologist at Cedars-Sinai; Adjunct Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University; Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA.

Discussions were held on educational, clinical and scientific cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the preparation of a memorandum of cooperation between YSMU and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
