On February 12, 2021 the online kick-off meeting of the ARICE project was officially held

On February 12, 2021 the online kick-off meeting of the ARICE project took place gathering participants of the project consortium. The representatives from the Yerevan State Medical University (Armenia), International Agency for Research on Cancer (WHO, France), Medical University of Graz (Austria) and the Charles University (Czech Republic) launched the new H2020 Twinning project aims to increase the research infrastructure capacities in the field of cancer research in Armenia, by integrating a robust pathology and genomic background with state-of-the-art biobanking into a research-ready data structure. During the conference the participants discussed current state of cancer research in developed and developing countries and their home institutions, major tasks of the project and main aims and objectives, available resources, project timeline and duties of partners. A detailed plan has been set up to implement the first aims of the project.
